Was it only me or were others not expecting another book in this series too? When I saw this on NetGalley, I was shocked very shocked. I could have sworn Addicted felt like the last book in the series. Regardless, however, I was very excited for more Ethan Frost.

In this installment there is dual POVs: Ethan’s and Chloe’s. It was awesome! In particular, I loved getting into Ethan’s head. Although I’ve read the first two books in the series and felt like I had a good understanding of Ethan as a person, getting his POV truly made a difference. I’d almost say this book was really his book.

A lot of the drama that occurs in this story deals with Ethan and his past. I loved seeing him tackle his issues head on. Granted, this did cause some riffs between him and Chloe. Ethan’s overly protective, which really is no surprise. Chloe sufficiently balanced him out though. Loved it!

Ultimately, I loved this additional installment despite my confusion. Getting into Ethan’s head definitely brought a new dynamic to the series. And guess what? Apparently there’s another one according to Goodreads! So there’s more to come, and I’m sufficiently aware of it this time. ;)
